On Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Maine Maritime Museum invites the community to help kick off the summer season with the annual raising of the flags on the Wyoming sculpture and loads of family-friendly activities. Admission is free, and the museum will be offering half-price cruises.

The day’s activities will include crafts, games, a lobsterman’s relay race, face painting, and more. To celebrate the spirit of community, the museum has invited representatives from local nonprofits to serve as honorary flag raisers to hoist the flags on the sculpture of Wyoming. Half-price cruises will be running throughout the day.
