Wiscasset Community Center
(Wiscasset Parks and Recreation)
The Wiscasset Community Center (WCC), part of the Wiscasset Parks and Recreation Department, has been serving customers in the region since 1998. The Wiscasset Parks & Recreation, with the support of the Wiscasset Senior Center membership, volunteers and a dedicated community, strive to offer the residents of Wiscasset and surrounding neighbors a well-rounded selection of recreational opportunities using the Community Center as the focal point of this goal.
Although best known for providing recreational, fitness and leisure services for people of all ages, the Community Center also provides a full selection of wellness programs, swim lessons, community events and fitness choices; is available to host birthday parties, company functions or cater a family gathering; and is home to the Parks and Recreation Department.
This local business partners with the Senior Center of Wiscasset, Inc. a non-profit that supports senior activities. As a municipal department they partner and work with numerous government agencies and local organizations for the betterment of our community through events like Alive on the River music series and Winterfest.
