Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: One arrest
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 248 calls for service for the period of Feb. 11 to Feb. 18. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 2,064 calls for service.
Arrest
Mark C. Brewer, 53, of Boothbay was arrested Feb. 17 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Back Narrows Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On Feb. 12, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Karen Webb, 65, of Westport. Ms. Webb was operating her 2021 Honda Pilot southbound on Main Road when she got distracted, causing her to go off the road to the right where she then struck a snowbank, then a tree, sustaining front end damage. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 12, an accident occurred on Barters Island Road in Boothbay involving Donna Clark, 75, of Boothbay. Ms. Clark was operating her 2017 Buick Regal eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle, causing her to drift over too far where the passenger’s side front wheel went into the snowbank on the side of the road, pulling the vehicle off the road to the right. Clark’s vehicle then traveled a short distance through the snow, before finally coming to rest against a traffic light support and utility pole. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 13,, an accident occurred on US Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Amber Nichols, 19, of Waldoboro. Ms. Nichols was operating her 2014 Chevrolet Cruze southbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to poor road conditions, crossed the left lane and struck the guardrail. Deputy Nathan Yeaton was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 14,, an accident occurred on West Neck Road in Nobleboro involving Bryce W. Boody, 18, of Washington. Mr. Boody was operating his 2015 Nissan Altima southbound when he went off the road on the right side and struck a tree. Sgt. Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.
