Dear Editor:

We are happy to endorse Richard DeVries as our candidate for the RSU 12 School Board Member for Westport Island. Richard has been actively representing Westport Island's children on the School Board since 2008. He has been committed to making sure that the school system is meeting the needs of the Island's children while focusing on what matters to the parents. Richard works tirelessly to make sure that we retain school choice and is instrumental in helping with opening up transportation to more school choices. Richard is on the finance committee and works to make sure that the school system is fiscally responsible with our dollars so that the educational resources are allocated wisely. Richards involvement with the board has brought an anti bullying intervention program to RSU 12, which is the only of its kind in the state. We need Richard DeVries representing Westport Island and our children. Please join us on June 13th and vote for Richard DeVries to continue being our RSU 12 School Board Member.
