Find out what your objects are worth
Reserve a consignment evaluation at Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts for a private consultation with Jane Prentiss, a generalist appraiser with Skinner Auctioneers & Appraisers.
The appraisals will be performed on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (advanced reservations required).
Participants may bring up to three items from virtually all collecting areas to be appraised including porcelain, toys, dolls, silver, glass, paintings, furniture and rugs. Jane will be accepting items for consignment, though an appraisal does not obligate you to consign. Fees: $10 for one item/$20 for two items/$25 for three items.
Please omit coins, stamps, jewelry, Asian objects and musical instruments.
Prentiss is Director of Skinner’s 20th Century Furniture and Decorative Arts department and Director of Antique Motor Vehicles.
She began her association with Skinner in 1973, as a collector with a particular focus on objects from the Arts and Crafts Movement and other material from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
She now oversees the appraisal and auction of 20th century material including art glass, lamps, art pottery, metalwork, and other decorative arts, as well as furniture and fine arts from the Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts, Art Deco and Modern movements.
Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts is located off Route 1 on Cochran Road (turn north at Skip Cahill Tire & Citgo) opposite the Route 27 South turnoff to Boothbay Harbor.
