Woolwich accident victim dies

The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office learned July 31 that Barry Wyman, 58, of Woolwich, has died from the injuries he sustained in the July 15 crash on Route 1 in Woolwich near the Taste of Maine.
The crash involved a Penske rental truck and three other vehicles, including Wyman’s, and remains under investigation. Deputy Mark Anderson is the primary investigator. The crash is being reconstructed by Deputy Brian Carlton with assistance from the Maine State Police.
The Sagadahoc County District Attorney’s Office is aware of the investigation’s status and is being updated on a regular basis.
