Davison Construction
Local construction company, Davison Construction, was started in the 1980s by Chip Davison. Back then, Davison was working for local lumber yards. He started part-time with small projects until he made the transition to a full time builder. As a young person, Davison always enjoyed building things; whether it was a tree house, camp or house renovation project, he had a passion for the work.
His passion drove his work at the lumber yard and desire to begin part time construction. In reflecting on these past experiences and decision to pursue his own business, Davison credits not only his passion for the work but also the joy his work brings to his customers.
Davison Construction is best known for their specialty shingled cottage designs that give homeowners a real “upta camp” feel without ever having to leave home. Davison has also been recognized for their beautiful barns and garages. His team is also experienced in renovations in antique homes, providing the care and detail needed for adding modern adjustments to complement your older home.
Local businesses not only offer great services, but they care about the community you live in because it’s their community, too. Davison understands this and works to keep a considerable share of his purchases here in the local market. Whether it’s a cup of coffee or truckload of lumber, his business strives to get products close to home. Additionally, Davison is a member the Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce and Maine Contractor and Builders Alliance.
The holiday season is a great time to make plans for new additions or renovations to your home. Surprise your loved one on Christmas day with new plans for the dream kitchen they’ve been talking about for years, or the den they’ve been thinking about to offer an ideal space for entertainment. Call Davison Construction at 207-592-6399 to discuss your building ideas and turn these dreams into plans! You’ll be impressed with all they can offer and pleased with the quality of service Davison provides.

Why shop local?
Local businesses equal jobs. Most new jobs are provided by local businesses. Small local businesses are the largest employers nationally. Local business owners invest in community. Local businesses are owned by people who live in this community, are less likely to leave and are more invested in the community's welfare and future. Local businesses are owned by your neighbors, your plumber, your hairstylist, your baker, and your community.
