ReVision Energy to donate solar array to Maine non-profit
ReVision Energy, Maine’s leading installer of solar energy systems, will donate a 5.3 kW grid-tied solar electric installation to one Maine-based 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization this spring.
The 20-panel system, to be installed in June of 2016, will be awarded based on applications received through April 30 and evaluated on qualifiers including percentage of annual kilowatt hours offset by the solar array, the physical visibility and viability of the project, and community engagement, involvement and support.
“At ReVision Energy, our business is based on our mission, vision and values, and we work every day to give back to our communities in meaningful ways,” says Jennifer Albee, ReVision’s customer relations manager. “We hope we can find a deserving non-profit for whom this grid-tied solar electric system makes a meaningful difference in their annual budget while also benefiting their greater community through the adoption of solar energy.”
ReVision Energy, founded in 2003 in Liberty, also has locations in Portland and Exeter and Concord, New Hampshire; ReVision has installed 5,000 systems for residential, commercial, non-profit and municipal customers across Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Interested non-profits can apply for the grant via ReVision Energy’s website, at www.revisionenergy.com/mainedonation; questions can be directed to Albee at 207-589-4171 or jalbee@revisionenergy.com.
