Recognizing that many people utilize the Internet to gather information before making a purchase, especially a large and technically challenging purchase like a gas or pellet appliance, Maine Coast Stove & Chimney has completely revamped its website to provide as much in-depth information to consumers as possible.

Accessible at www.mainecoaststove.com, the site is far more user friendly than the company’s previous website, said owner Robert Conlin.

“We made the hundreds of wood, pellet and gas stoves, inserts and fireplaces we sell much easier to find and more visually appealing,” Conlin said.

The site features products from Vermont Castings, Quadra-Fire, Pacific Energy, Hampton, Regency, Piazzetta, Empire and others. Information about accessories like Hearth Classic hearth pads, Portland Willamette fireplace doors and Pilgrim fireplace tools is also on the site.

“In addition, we think that Web users will really like some other features, like a fuel cost comparison chart, FAQs for specific fuel types, links to industry resources and up to date manufacturer’s promotions and special offers,” Conlin said.

The site was designed and built by Sullivan & Wolf of Plymouth, N.H. Owned by Brian and Donna Sullivan, the company far exceeded expectations, said Conlin.

“They are the ultimate pros. Not only are they creative, they took the time to understand our business and our needs and designed a site that reflects that. I can’t say enough good things about them,” he said.
