Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon on its new information center, during a rainy morning on the Main Street Pier on May 27. Members built the building, the first one the chamber has been in that it has owned, not rented, Board Chairman Monique McRae said.
McRae thanked Frank and Linda Sprague of nearby Sprague’s Lobster for offering to open and close the center daily.
