Maine Media Women invites interested writers, artists, and other creative souls to join them on Saturday, Dec. 3, for their annual holiday Potluck Brunch. The gathering will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the River Arts Gallery on Route 1 in Damariscotta, and coffee and tea will be provided.

Again this year, in-kind and cash donations will be collected for the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, and the shelter’s “wish list” is available on both their website and the MMW website.

Maine Media Women is “a community of creative women who support and encourage each other’s creative work,” and monthly meetings offer opportunities for women to share their creative work in a congenial, supportive, and informal group setting. Artists and writers are encouraged to bring samples of their work, and anyone interested in supporting them is welcome to attend. MMW meetings are held at the River Arts Gallery on the first Saturday of each month, and are always free and open to the public.
